Talbot County Women’s Club delivers Christmas Gift Baskets

The Talbot County Women’s Club gave much needed Christmas cheer this holiday season providing gift baskets to the Upper Shore Aging. 19 seasonal baskets were delivered for those in need over the holidays.

“As an organization, our mission is to support the community and help those in need in Talbot County,” says BettyJo Constantino, board member of the Talbot County Women’s Club. “This type of community service is exactly what made me want to join the women’s club. I couldn’t be happier to help those in need, especially around the holiday season.”

Upper Shore Aging will disperse the baskets provided by the club at its Port Street location.

The Talbot County Women’s Club was established in 1930 by a small group of Easton women joining together to serve the community through charitable initiatives. As a registered 501(c)3 Non-Profit, the Club continues to expand that tradition of giving, with charitable work at the heart of everything the Women’s Club does. Members are guided by the Club’s four objectives, which are to support many local, worthwhile causes through a number of service projects; to build deep friendships amongst members and develop a deep sense of pride for the club; to create a common interest in charitable, educational, civic, moral, and social measures; and to maintain a center for the Club’s activities.
